With extensive experience gained as an apprentice under the renowned Hiroshi Kato—who has guided notable smiths like Yu Kurosaki—Yoshimi has refined his skills to a remarkable degree.

His work is characterized by exceptional quality, featuring a beautifully refined hammer pattern, precise tapering, and an impeccable finish. The use of SG2 powder steel ensures not only outstanding edge retention and corrosion resistance but also superior cutting performance.

The western-style handle of this knife is carefully crafted at the Hatsukokoro workshop in Miki, Hyogo Prefecture. Its ergonomic design, combined with a full tang construction, provides exceptional comfort and durability, making it a favorite among users who appreciate both functionality and artistry.
