💬Different from commonly seen sanmai-structured knives, coreless Damascus is comprised of couple dozen layers of VG10/VG2 steel. According to Takefu Special Steel Co Ltd., a smaller carbide crystal structure is achieved via rolling and the ”Damascus cutting effect“ gives the steel double the edge retention potential as a san-mai VG10 knife.

As a flagship product of Zanmai, it boasts an excellent surface, choil and spine finish, as well as excellent ergonomics. The wooden box adds an extra touch for gifting on special occasions.
