Takeshi Saji is a respected bladesmith with over half a century of blade-forging experience. He is well-known for his sophisticated and innovative designs from earlier years. As one of the founding members of Takefu Knife Village, he is also considered an influential figure among the younger craftsmen in the Echizen knife scene.

The blade features an SG2 steel core, renowned for its outstanding corrosion resistance and edge retention. The Kurozome (etching) enhances the intricacies of the Nickel Damascus pattern, making it even more striking.
