Crafted by Yao, a senior craftsman of the XinGuo team, this piece represents one of his recent experimental works, where traditional craftsmanship meets high-performance modern steel.

At its core lies Apex Ultra, an American-made steel valued for its fine grain, strong edge retention, and reliable stability, delivering a precise and confident cutting feel.

Through careful grinding and acid etching, the blade develops a captivating blue-grey tone, highlighted by natural metallic crystalline patterns, known as ferrite structures. The result is subtle yet deeply expressive, an aesthetic best appreciated up close.

The edge is finished in a durable, razor-sharp convex geometry for excellent real-world performance. True to XinGuo’s standards, every detail is finely polished to enhance both refinement and comfort in hand.
