HADO is a recently established brand by Fukui Hamono. Knives engraved with "HADO" is the symbol of a product that pursues excellence.

This blade has the recipe of many irresistible qualities: Kurouchi, Suminagashi, Wide, Ultra-thin grind, and Top-tier finish. Forged by traditional craftsman "Yoshikazu Tanaka" and sharpened by HADO's top sharpener "Tadataka Maruyama" along with two craftsmen (Naohiro Nomura & Takafumi Tsuda).

The unique characteristic of this blade is the sharpener raises shinogi to an extremely high position, taking up a huge surface area. You can see the knife is absurdly thin from this cross-section photo. As for finishing, the knife has been given a well-polished spine and choil.

The handle material is made of oak, plastered with cherry oak then coated with a layer of paint: Good looking and durable.
