Our latest exclusive collaboration with Xinguo.

This series features Baker Forge’s "Riptide" and "FireStorm" patterns. The Damascus core is forged from alternating layers of 1084 and 18N20 steel, then clad in copper Damascus. The combination creates strong contrast between the different metals, with depth and movement running through the blade.

Xinguo developed a Western-style profile with an S-grind inspired by Western custom knives. Subtle concave transitions reduce cutting resistance and improve food release, while the changing geometry allows the Damascus pattern to flow through light and shadow. The result is a smooth cutting feel supported by carefully refined geometry.

Careful polishing and controlled acid etching bring out warm bronze tones across the grey Damascus and darkened steel. As the blade moves, the layered pattern shifts with the light, recalling the final glow of sunset.

This distinctive finish gives the knife its name, Twilight.
