Leszek Sikoń’s work is known for its distinctive rugged style, preserving the raw character of traditional forging.
The Graphite Series features a 26C3 “Spicy White” carbon steel core, chosen for its fine grain structure, excellent edge retention, and highly responsive cutting performance. Like any carbon steel knife, it will develop a natural patina over time and requires proper care to prevent rust.
Sanmai construction and black etching create the series’ signature dark graphite appearance. Deep tones, subtle patterns, and the naturally textured handle give the knife a bold yet understated look.
A defining feature of the Graphite Series is Leszek Sikoń’s signature Integral Bolster. The bolster and blade are forged and shaped as one continuous piece, creating a seamless transition into the handle. This distinctive construction also provides a stable, well-balanced feel in the hand. The carefully shaped bolster offers comfortable support during extended use while maintaining a clean, flowing profile.
The handle is made from Bog Oak, oak preserved for hundreds or even thousands of years in waterlogged peat bogs. With very little oxygen, the wood darkens naturally over time, creating its distinctive deep brown to black color. Each handle is individually fitted and finished, making every knife truly one of a kind.
