Description

This blade is forged by the renowned knifesmith, Shiro Kamo from Echizen, Fukui. It features an "Aogami Super" steel core with soft iron cladding, finished with a traditional kurouchi surface treatment for rustic appeal. The hardened edge achieves approximately 65 HRC, delivering excellent edge retention for professional use.

Important Note on Care

As Aogami Super belongs to the high-carbon steel family, this knife requires regular maintenance to maintain optimal performance. Proper care including immediate drying and occasional oiling will preserve its cutting ability and prevent corrosion.
