Description

The latest SPG STRIX Damascus series by Saji Takeshi features a SPG STRIX powdered steel core from Takefu Special Steel, hardened to approximately 65 HRC. The blade is clad in a beautiful Damascus steel layer and finished with a fine Bokashi treatment, creating a distinctive pattern with a soft, cloud-like appearance.

The knife features a full-tang Western-style handle with brown cow bone scales. The sturdy full-tang construction provides excellent durability, while the warm color and natural texture of the cow bone give the knife a unique feel and character.

Saji Takeshi is one of Japan’s most respected bladesmiths and a pioneer in combining Western knife design with traditional Japanese forging techniques. For more than a decade, he has incorporated traditional craftsmanship and innovative design into his work, creating knives that balance practical performance with artistic beauty.
